Motorcycle Trips: Yellowstone, Cabot Trail, Alaska

Well, it's getting to the nitty-gritty...as Jamie said, "only 3 more sleeps". Emails have been sent, replied to and forwarded back and forth at a feverish pace, trying to get things organized and finalizing plans. We've adjusted the trip schedule a bit, including a stay in Ottawa with Jamie's brother Mark, that includes an Eagles concert and possibly a Blues Festival show. From there, we're off to Quebec City to explore the city and then off to the Saginaw/Chicoutami area. Jamie is all packed up as he has no storage to speak of. He's just bringing a few changes of clothing and some bedding. Al and I will have to haul all his stuff around in our trailers, and in lieu of that, Jamie will do all the dishes and laundry along the way as a way of repaying us (he doesn't quite know that yet). Below, are a few pictures of Jamie packing up his bike with his little helpers (a.k.a. his kids). So, the plan is: Al and Jamie will leave the Soo Saturday morning at about 8:00 a.m. and I will leave St. Catharines about the same time and we will meet in North Bay near Hwy 17 & HWY 11 at about 2:00 p.m. From there, we will follow Hwy 17 east into Ottawa. It will be a very long day, but it will be nice to be finally on the road.
